Special session AI2SC: Artificial Intelligence and Security for Smart Cities

AI2SC 2020

Civil Engineering Urban Studies & Planning

In the recent years, with the successful development and the deployment of Internet of Things (IOT) architectures, cities across the world are becoming smart Cities. As result, many services ensured by each city, such as transportation, buildings, healthcare, education, agriculture and energy management are becoming more and more intelligent. Moreover, Artificial Intelligence (AI) represents promising solution to bring intelligence into different entities of smart city. However, the process of integration brings new challenges and problems. In addition, security is one of important challenges that arises since smart city applications not only collect a wide range of sensitive information from user and their mobile applications, but also control access to different resources of city. In this session, we are focusing on artificial intelligence and security-related problems that currently affect smart cities in general around the world. For this, the objective of this Workshop is to bring together researchers to discuss recent algorithms and solutions related to both problems. Authors are invited to submit previously unpublished papers to this session.
The topics of interest of the special session include, but are not limited to:
AI-based protocols and services for smart cities
AI-based application for smart cities
IA-based communications Security
Cloud Computing Security
Security for Ubiquitous/Pervasive Computing
Big Data Analytics for Smart Cities Security
AI-based big data analysis for smart cities
AI-based cloud computing for smart cities
Paper submission
Papers should contain original material, which is not currently under review in any other conference or journal and has not been previously published. All submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of six (devil) printed pages standard IEEE conference two-column format (minimum 10-point font) including figures, without incurring additional page charges (maximum 2 additional pages, with over length page fee).
All submitted papers will go through a peer review process. Questions about paper submissions or the conference program can be addressed to any of the Program Chairs. Standard IEEE Transactions templates for Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats can be found at: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
Only PDF files will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EDAS online submission system: https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=27303&track=103395.
You are invited to submit the original papers in the related fields. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I) databases. There will also be best papers awards. The WINCOM Proceedings have been indexed in the past by ISI, dblp and Scopus.
