CALL FOR PAPERS: CANDAR'20
The Eighth International Symposium on Computing and Networking
https://is-candar.org/
Naha, Okinawa, Japan, November 24-27, 2020
[Special Announcement regarding COVID-19 situation]
1. We still hope to have a physical meeting at Okinawa, Japan in
November. However, due to the COVID-19 situation, it may not be
possible. In such case, virtual meetings will be held.
*Alternative*
2. Although we are still working with the possibility of having
physical meetings for CANDAR 2020 as planned, the pandemic situation
may not allow it. In case physical meeting is not possible, we will
have online meetings (details will be announced later);
3. Regardless of physical or virtual meeting, we will provide the
opportunity to present the paper online for those not able travel to
Okinawa for any reason. The details of online presentation will be
informed later.
4. The review process will be conducted as in previous editions.
5. Regardless of physical or virtual meeting, all accepted papers will
be published on IEEE CPS as previous years
[Introduction]
Following the success of past CANDAR symposiums 2013 in Matsuyama,
2014 in Shizuoka, 2015 in Sapporo, 2016 in Hiroshima, 2017 in Aomori,
2018 in Takayama, 2019 in Nagasaki CANDAR 2020 will be held in Naha,
Okinawa, Japan. CANDAR 2020 will serve as a forum for exchanging the
latest findings and experiences ranging from theoretical research to
practical system development in all aspects of computing and
networking including parallel and distributed systems, algorithms,
architectures, and applications. In addition to technical sessions
consisting of contributed papers, the symposium will include invited
presentations, poster sessions, tutorials, and workshops. We believe
that participants will get new ideas and insight of computing and
networking. CANDAR'20 will be held in Okinawa, Japan, from November
24-27, 2020.
[Publication]
The main symposium Proceedings (CANDAR) and workshop Proceedings
(CANDARW) will be published by Conference Publishing Service (IEEE
CPS) and submitted to IEEE Xplore and CSDL digital libraries. Also
they are submitted for indexing through INSPEC, EI (Compendex),
Thomson ISI, and other indexing services.
[Tracks] The authors should select one of the five tracks to submit a paper.
Track1: Algorithms and Applications
Track 2: Architecture and Computer System
Track 3: Networking and Grid
Track 4: Artificial Intelligence and Software Engineering
Track 5: Information and Communication Security
