The 7th International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies for Disaster Management (ICT-DM 2021)
Track 1: The use of ICT in the management of epidemics or pandemics
In this track, we seek contributions, and in particular feedback, from scientists and practitioners who have been involved in, or have a direct or indirect relationship with the management of epidemic or pandemic (such as COVID-19) crises. The crises being multifaceted, we are interested in the points of view of contributors or stakeholders from different disciplines including medicine, biology, public health, politics, technology, education, economics, etc. and even multidisciplinary management experiences. Contributions involving the use of ICTs are highly desirable. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Virtual platforms and dashboards for propagation prediction, control, and monitoring
Intelligent forecasting applications or systems for early detection
Intelligent medical decision support systems
Intelligence in medical decision applications
Proximity correlation and disease propagation
Tracing systems and privacy
Open data for Covid-19 or other pandemics
Online governance (e-government is only one aspect)
Case studies and tools development for disease prediction, propagation and control
Policy, technology development, and analytics case studies
Telehealth role in epidemic or pandemic crisis
Online education (university, high school, and elementary)
Teleworking in crisis situation

Track 2: AI, Big data, ontologies and analytics for crisis managementMain Topics of Interest
In this track, we solicit contributions from researchers and practitioners that focus on big data, ontologies and analytics for crisis management. We invite submissions of unpublished and original research in these aspects. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
Big data analytics in disaster management
Cloud computing
Data mining from multiple information and huge sources
Data/information management and analysis for disaster management
Artificial intelligence and machine learning for disaster management
Prediction and early warning systems
Uncertainty and possibly adversity in data handling and delivery
Ontology based approaches

Track 4: Crowdsourcing and social media for disaster & crisis management
In this track, we solicit contributions from researchers and practitioners that focus on using crowdsourcing and social media for disaster management. We invite submissions of unpublished and original research in these aspects. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following topics:
Crowd sourcing
Coordination, collaboration and decision support technologies and systems for disaster management
Social media and networks
Querying and filtering on heterogeneous, multi-source streaming disaster data
Human-system interactive information extraction
Track 5: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for Disaster Management
In this track, we solicit contributions from researchers and practitioners that focus on using crowdsourcing and social media for disaster management. We invite submissions of unpublished and original research in these aspects. Topics of interest include, but not limited to, the following topics:

Geo-Information technologies for disaster management

Submission Instructions
Papers should neither have been published elsewhere nor currently under review by another conference or journal. All papers must be written in English and formatted according to the standard IEEE 2-column format. The IEEE template can befound here. The conference accepts three types of submissions, specifically full papers (5 to 8 pages), short papers (3 to 4 pages), and posters & demos (2 pages). All accepted and presented papers will be included in the conference proceedings.
