The book “Impact of Digital Transformation in Teacher Training Models'' will be a reference book for national policy makers, educational institutional decision makers and all those conducting research on education in the digital era. This book will be central to professionals in the fields of education, teacher training, educational management and policies, digital literacy, educational technology, educational psychology, information systems, instructional design, learning management and transversal issues from the emerging digital society. This book will enrich knowledge, which may lead to professionals engaging in communities of practice and develop critical reflection on their pedagogical practices, and, eventually, more open to a paradigm shift in the educational culture framing those practices and the training models where they are embedded.

The editors invite manuscripts of two types: 1) CONCEPTS: Theoretical manuscripts that should contribute to the development of theory pertaining to the digital transformation of education and its impact on the teachers training paradigm shift. 2) EXPERIENCES and EMERGING PRACTICES: real case related manuscripts that should explore the development and implementation of new and innovative practices emerging from changes or adaptations to training models in the context of digital transformation of education. The book “Impact of Digital Transformation in Teacher Training Models'' will provide the opportunity to develop a community of learning and practice for the co-construction of interdisciplinary networks that will enhance a better understanding of the need and impact of digital transformation in education around the world and how it triggers a paradigm shift for teachers training worldwide.
