Taif University is excited to collaborate with Stanford University to bring the Women in Data Science (WiDS) conference to TU, Saudi Arabia. The Global Women in Data Science (WiDS) Conference is an annual one-day technical conference based at Stanford, which brings together data scientists and professionals from around the globe to discuss the latest research and applications of data science in a broad set of domains.
We invite submission of papers focusing on all aspects of data science ranging from theoretical foundations to novel models and algorithms. We focus on challenges and applications of all fields: Medicine, physics, chemistry, computational biology, social science, economics, computer science, mathematics, digital humanities, etc in the fields of data science. The topics of interest include but are not limited
to:
* Data Science Technology
* Artificial Intelligence and its applications
* Data Mining
* Big data
* Biomedical Data Science
* Data Visualization
* Business Analytics
* Statistical Computing
* Data Science for Smart Citiy
We encourage applications of data science that are related to The Makkah Cultural Forum. This year’s theme of the forum is “How can we set an example in digital world?”
Paper submissions can have multiple authors (of any gender), but at least one author of each accepted paper must be identified as a woman, who is expected to present the paper in the conference.
‎‏Conference registration is free of charge.
Accepted papers will be sent to IEEE for publication.
