The VI IEEE World Engineering Education Conference (EDUNINE2022) will be held in IBERO-AMERICA from March 13 to 16, 2022. EDUNINE2022 will be a Smart Distributed Conference, multi-city and hybrid, with parallel online and on-site sessions at the cities/countries of Latin America that hosted previous editions of EDUNINE, Spain and Portugal linked to each other using currently available technological solutions.

For those authors who wish to participate in person, we will provide several venues to improve accessibility, reduce travel distances and costs. For authors who for various reasons are unable to travel to a venue, we offer the opportunity to participate online in all conference activities. All online and face-to-face sessions will be accessible online.

Our goal is that by splitting the conference into multiple small events in different cities there will be less uncertainty and greater ability to travel to a nearby/more convenient in-person event location. This multi-hub hybrid format helps to reduce travel distances, costs, and indoor gathering for adapting to the restrictions that might still be in place due to COVID-19 safety and health regulations. At the same time, it increases the reach of the conference and the opportunities to participate. It will be an inclusive and accessible conference.
