Pathways to Resilient Zero Carbon Cities

RZCC 2021

Civil Engineering Urban Studies & Planning

The conference will consolidate the state of the art and a trajectory of the future development in the field. This call is for papers reporting on high quality work not published elsewhere, and aligned with at least one of the conference themes. The first stage of submission will be the submission of abstracts, and the authors of accepted abstracts will be invited to submit full papers or work in progress papers. Both abstracts and papers will be double blind reviewed.
Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length, detailing the aims and objectives of the work, methods and the main findings. They should be aligned with at least one of the conference themes, and should be based on original and high quality work not published elsewhere. The submissions are via a dedicated web site, where the contribution title, the contents, the keywords and the corresponding conference theme are entered directly into the submission page. The deadline for abstract submissions is 1st February 2021.
A paper formatting template is provided in the form of a Word file, available on the conference web site. All papers will need to comply with these formatting guidelines. Two types of papers are invited: full papers, and work in progress papers. The full papers will report on completed work, and will not exceed 8 pages of A4. Work in progress papers will help the authors to benefit from sharing their ongoing work in front of an international audience and receiving feedback, and will not exceed 4 pages of A4. All papers will be submitted as PDF documents. Papers submitted for peer review will not show the names and affiliations of authors in order to facilitate double blind review. The deadline for paper submission for peer review is 3rd May 2021, by invitation subject to the outcome of abstract reviews, via a link to be announced here. The final paper submission, which will show the names and affiliations of authors, will be upon acceptance of the reviewed papers. Authors will be asked to accept a copyright agreement on submission of the final paper. The deadline for final paper submission will be 1st July 2021.
