INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:
STRENGTHENING ACADEMIC INTEGRITY – NEW INSIGHTS
November 16-17, 2020
Podgorica, Montenegro
Over the last years, the question of academic integrity became one of the most important issues in higher education, as various forms of academic misconduct and non-ethical behavior become more visible and more frequent. We are nowadays witnessing the types of academic misconduct which are not easily understandable from both rational and ethical points of view, such as researchers publishing false data, forging results, plagiarizing or self-plagiarizing, etc. Similarly, number of students are cheating during the exams and showing wide array of non-ethical behaviors. These and many other aspects of the academic “non-integrity” (in science and in education) are of particular interest for the international scientific community, which acknowledged this as the increasingly relevant and internationally recognized problem.
Therefore, the main objective of the conference is to enhance scientific knowledge on the academic integrity through the interdisciplinary research-based approach which should facilitate emergence of innovative strategies for spreading the culture of academic integrity, promoting ethical behavior and preventing plagiarism and other types on non-ethical practices in academic environment and beyond.
