2022 2nd International Conference on Robotics and Control Engineering (RobCE 2022) will take place in Nanjing, China during March 25-27, 2022, which is co-organized by Southeast University and Hong Kong Society of Mechanical Engineers(HKSME), technical sponsored by IEEE Nanjing Section Robotics and Automation Society Chapter, York University, media supported by MDPI-Information. Focusing on the international research and key application domains of robot and control engineering, around the theme of innovative development of intelligent society, RobCE is going to conduct high level academic communication and display the latest achievements, build the international collaborative innovation platform.
●Publication & Indexing
All the registered and presented papers will be temporarily included in ACM International Conference Proceedings Series(ISBN:978-1-4503-9585-4), which will be submitted to Engineering Village, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS) and other databases for review and indexing.
Selected papers with high quality will be recommended to publish in international journals.
***The Conference Poreceeding of RobCE 2021 was published in ACM International Conference Proceedings Series and indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus.
●Speakers
Prof. Zhidong Wang
Chiba Institute of Technology, Japan.
He is currently a Professor with the Department of Advance Robotics, Chiba Institute of Technology, Chiba, Japan. Senior Member, IEEE. His current research interests include human–robot interaction and cooperation systems, distributed autonomous robot systems, medical robot systems, micro-/nanorobotics, and the application of intelligent robot technologies for the disabled.
Prof. Fumin Zhang
Georgia Institute of Technology, USA
Fumin Zhang’s research focuses on mobile sensor networks that demonstrate bio-inspired long duration autonomy. He has contributed to the co-design of control, sensing, and communication algorithms for mobile sensing agents that collect information to model spatial temporal stochastic fields. He is currently serving as the co-chair for the IEEE RAS Technical Committee on Marine Robotics and is the associate editor for IEEE Journal of Oceanic Engineering, Robotics and Automation Letters, IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, and IEEE Transactions on Control of Networked Systems. He also serves as the deputy editor-in-chief for the Cyber-Physical Systems Journal.
Prof. Guoqiang Hu
Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Guoqiang Hu is currently a Full Professor in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Research interests:Distributed optimization and game theory, distributed decision making, optimization and control; Multi-robot systems (multi-robot coordination, swarm intelligence and fleet management, visual servo control); Smart city systems (data science, fault diagnostics, building automation and control, energy management and optimization).
Prof. Sean B. Andersson
Boston University, USA
Professor Andersson believes the potential of scanning probe microscopy has not yet been realized. His current work in this area focuses on bringing systems and control theory to bear in atomic force and confocal laser scanning microscopies with the goal of extending the domain of applicability of these technologies deeper into the realm of dynamic processes. In symbolic control and robotics, his research is aimed at developing methods for handling the complexity of robots operating in real-world environments. He is also interested in cooperative approaches based on a symbolic framework of control.
