2021 V IEEE World Conference on Engineering Education (EDUNINE) Call for Papers (Extended Deadlines)

EDUNINE 2021 (V IEEE World Conference on Engineering Education) will be held in a hybrid format in Guatemala, Guatemala, from March 14 to 17, 2021, at the headquarters of the Universidad Galileo.

We are delivering an EDUNINE 2021 hybrid conference (online and face-to-face) considering the best alternatives for both parts of the event. We look forward to continuing to support the efforts of our prospective authors and organizers ensuring access and opportunities for participation. The health and safety of our participants and staff is the number one priority of IEEE.

The theme of this edition is the Future of Engineering Education: Current Challenges and Opportunities. Conferences on Education in Engineering, Computing and Technology are more relevant than ever for bridging communities and helping educators and policymakers to find creative and innovative solutions as a response to teaching and learning in the present crisis and in the longer-term future.

EDUNINE is the annual conference of the IEEE Education Society organized jointly with COPEC for Region 9 (Latin America). This conference is part of the renowned list of regional conferences of this Society that are: FIE, EDUCON, EDUNINE, and TALE.

Prospective authors are invited to submit full length and work-in-progress original papers. We also encourage contributions that address the unprecedented disruption caused by COVID-19 on all aspects of higher education. The streams of topics of particular interest for this edition include:

  • Moving to Quality & Equitable Engineering, Technology & Computing (ETC) Distance Learning Solutions during & after COVID-19 (Lesson learned from the implementation of ETC Distance Education at the time of COVID-19):

  • Broadening Learning / Teaching in ETC Education

  • Innovative Learning Spaces in ETC Education

  • Improving Educational Organization Issues of ETC Education
