Scope
Digitalisation is transforming the retail industry into “Digital Retail”, a combination of traditional physical retailing and digital technologies. The retail landscape and customer needs are evolving towards omnichannel journeys. It is essential to understand how to shape technologies, address customer requirements, and create enriching shopping experiences in the omnichannel era. The workshop aims to bring together research in the intersection of Human-Computer Interaction and Digital Retail, specifically in the field of tension of customer interaction with retail technologies and retailers interaction with decision support tools, which can bridge the gap for enabling and designing omnichannel and convenient shopping experiences to consumers.
