Information Extraction, Text Mining, and Knowledge Graph Derivation from Texts
Language Resources and Evaluation
CL/NLP and Linguistic Theories, Cognitive Modeling and Psycholinguistics
Machine Learning for CL/NLP
Machine Translation and translation aids
Morphology and Word Segmentation
Offensive speech detection and analysis
Semantics
Sentiment Analysis, Opinion and Argument Mining
Speech recognition and synthesis and spoken language understanding
Natural Language Generation, Summarization and Simplification
Tagging, Chunking, Syntax and Parsing
Textual Inference and Question Answering
Vision, Robotics, Multimodal and Grounded Language Acquisition
Papers targeting any of these topics from the perspective of the Sustainability Goals of the UN are especially welcome. In order to promote research in Computational Linguistics that contributes to sustainable development, COLING 2022 will define a number of Grand Challenges for which best paper awards will be granted.
