Communication Diplomacy & International Relations
The International Communication Researchers Network (RICI) will hold its first academic event: ERICI 2025 , from September 24th to 26th, 2025 , at the Universidad Católica de Argentina (UCA) in Buenos Aires. The event aims to address a gap in Latin American Studies on International Communication, exploring the transformations of complex interdependence dynamics over recent decades in the international system. Continuing this mission, we promote the First Meeting of the International Communication Researchers Network (RICI) , an international academic event dedicated to discussing International Communication in the current contemporary context.
The event builds on the trajectory initiated by the group at ALAIC 2022 in Buenos Aires and seeks to consolidate a research network focused on understanding global communication dynamics.
We invite researchers and academics to submit their extended abstracts by August 10th, 2025 , via the link:

Submissions must be written in Spanish or Portuguese, formatted as Word documents (4–6 pages), and include Times New Roman font, size 12, 1.5 line spacing. A maximum of three submissions per author is allowed (1 as lead author, 2 as co-author). This event will be hybrid (in-person and online), and registration is free.
There will be five thematic panels addressing the following axes:
1) International Journalism
2) Communication and International Relations
3) Geopolitics of Communication
4) International Political Communication
5) Global Culture
