Post-Pandemic Hybrid Environments: Possibilities For New Technologies
The Systems Engineering Undergraduate Program of the University of Lima is pleased to organize and present the 5th International Conference on Systems Engineering (CIIS 2022) called “Post-Pandemic Hybrid Environments: Possibilities for New Technologies.” The objective of the congress is to reflect, discuss and present applications related to hybrid environments and new technologies with special focus on the current post-pandemic context. Research in the fields of information systems, software engineering, computer science and information technologies is expected to address these phenomena.
Hybrid environments are especially important in the current context, characterized by mobility restrictions, social distancing and shutdown of some in-person activities. Individuals, organizations and companies have been adjusting to this situation and have learned or enhanced learning tools, which facilitate remote worker productivity, tracking of infected people, identification of new disease variants, among others. On one side, a large amount of these initiatives were developed as a response to emergencies, i.e., reactively. On the other side, the solutions created more virtual interactions and experiences among their physical counterparts, increasing the number of hybrid environments.
In this context, it is convenient to proactively explore the possibilities offered by new technologies to maximize the results of these hybrid environments at a short, medium and long term. Results mean not only those achieved economically but also the innovative potential that may stem from these environments, the well-being of their members or the flexibility as a competence to adapt to future changes caused by technological disruptions and other health or social emergencies.
As in previous editions, the congress will be attended by prominent world-class speakers, who will share their vision on the topics covered in the event. Furthermore, the 5th International Conference on Systems Engineering (CIIS 2022) organizing committee invites to the presentation of seminars and academic posters showing innovative research proposals from the fields of information systems, software engineering, computer science, information technologies or others related to the event topic.
Finally, CIIS 2022 will be held on October 18 to 20 in person and virtually to respond to the limitations that may still exist due to the COVID-19 health emergency and to offer the best experience to our participants.
CIIS 2021 will be held on October 26, 27 and 28 of 2021 and we will provide a space of international academic scope.
