SUBMISSION
Submitted technical papers must be no longer than 6 pages for full papers and 4 pages for short papers, including all figures, tables and references. Submitted papers must present original research that is not currently under review for any other venue.
Authors are requested to submit their papers electronically using the EasyChair submission system: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=ist20210 , in PDF format before the deadline.
PUBLICATION
All papers accepted for this workshop will be included in the EUSPN-2021 proceedings, which will be published by Elsevier Science in the open-access Procedia Computer Science series online. The proceedings are also submitted for indexing to Scopus, Google Scholar, Thomson Reuters' Conference Proceeding Citation Index, EI Compendex, and DBLP. In addition, after the conference, selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version to number of journals.

MOST PROMISING YOUNG RESEARCHER PRIZE
The Internet of Smart Things 2021 workshop (IST'21) presents an opportunity for PhD students to win a prize for their research by, in addition to submitting a paper for publication in IST'21, entering it into our "Most Promising Young Researcher" competition.
The award for the "Most Promising Young Researcher" competition will be 200 euros (plus a certificate), offered by Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Spain.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the Award it is necessary to be a registered PhD student. The student must be the first author. It is also required that the student attends the workshop either in person or online to present the paper. If you do not register the conference your paper will be withdrawn.
