Call for Papers TechSummit 2025 | Building Resiliency at Scale

The TechSummit in Amsterdam is a forum for IT professionals to exchange in-depth technical insights and innovative solutions. This year, we’re focusing on “Building resiliency at scale” – developing robust, scalable, and future-ready IT systems.



We invite experts, practitioners, and thought leaders to submit proposals that explore technical topics in depth. Our audience is highly technical and values presentations that offer clear, practical technical insights rather than commercial pitches.

 



Event theme | “Building Resiliency at Scale”



The theme reflects the evolving challenges in IT infrastructure, automation, and scalability. This year’s summit aims to explore innovative solutions to ensure resilience in complex, high-demand environments.

 



Topics of interest | Suggestions



We welcome submissions on topics such as (but not limited to):




  • Designing for Failure: How to build self-healing internet infrastructures that anticipate and recover from unexpected disruptions.

  • Scaling Resilient Cloud-Native Applications: Techniques and best practices for ensuring cloud-native solutions remain robust and scalable.

  • The Role of AI and Machine Learning in Proactive Infrastructure Resilience: Innovative approaches to using AI and machine learning for proactive infrastructure resilience.

  • Herding Your Cattle: Strategies for automating infrastructure with precision, balancing efficiency and control.

  • Scaling Applications with a Global Audience: Insights into designing systems that perform reliably at scale across different regions.

  • Soft Themes with an Engineering Angle: Exploring new technology choices, evolving tech culture, and leadership that drives resilient system design.



If your topic aligns with the theme or introduces a fresh technical perspective on these subjects, we encourage you to submit your proposal.

 



Audience of the event



Our audience comprises highly technical professionals – including sysadmins, DevOps engineers, developers, network administrators, and security engineers – who value detailed, technical content.

Formats



Plain text via the CFP portal https://pretalx.com/techsummit/cfp. The information required includes:




  • Title of the presentation.

  • Abstract (max. 250 words).

  • Speaker bio (max. 100 words).



Relevant content



Please note that all talks should be non-commercial and have a really technical focus that

resonates with the technical audience of this event. Sales pitches are not allowed.



Talk length 



All breakout sessions are 30 minutes long, including a 5-minute Q&A.

Sessions will take place between approximately 12:00 and 16:00 hrs.



Review process



Submissions will be reviewed by a selection panel consisting of industry experts. Selected speakers will be included in the event agenda and notified by June 1, 2025.
