2020 International Conference on Frontiers of Machine Vision and Image Processing (FMVIP 2020) is joint conference of CCISP 2020, which is supported by Asia Pacific Institute of Science and Engineering. FMVIP 2020 will take place in Chengdu, China from Nov. 13-15, 2020. FMVIP 2020 is a not-to-be-missed opportunity that distills the most current knowledge on a rapidly advancing discipline in one conference. Prof. Athanassios Skodras, Univ of Patras, Greece
Athanassios Skodras is the Prof of Dig Systems, DECE, Univ of Patras (UP), Greece.His research interests are in image and video coding, digital watermarking, fast transform algorithms, real-time DSP and multimedia applications, Gesture Recognition Based on sEMG Signals, Discrimination of Photos from Computer Graphics Images, ENF-based Authentication of Digital Media, HDR Image Compression. He has over 160 publications in refereed journals and conference proceedings, authored/co-authored 6 books, 3 book chapters, and holds 2 international patents.
Prof. Hao Ying, Wayne State University, USA
IEEE Fellow, Professor Hao Ying is a tenured full professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Wayne State University, USA. He has published two fuzzy control books, 119 peer-reviewed journal papers, over 160 peer-reviewed conference papers, and 6 book chapters. Prof. Ying's Google Scholar h-index is 49. He is ranked among the top 23% of the 100,000 most-cited authors across all 22 scientific fields (176 subfields) which are selected from over 6,880,000 scientists worldwide (Supplementary data tables for “A standardized citation metrics author database annotated for scientific field,” PLoS Biology 2019).
Prof. Edmund Lai, Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand
Edmund joined AUT in February 2016. He obtained his BE(Hons) and PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of Western Australia in 1982 and 1991 respectively. Prior to joining AUT, he was with the School of Engineering and Advanced Technology at Massey University from 2006. He had also held various academic positions in the School of Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, School of Engineering with Edith Cowan University in Western Australia, and Department of Information Engineering at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He had also worked as a independent consultant, developing industrial training courses and optimization software for the mining industry in Australia. His general research interests include multimedia signal processing, machine learning techniques, wireless networks and information theory.
