We’re now inviting abstract submissions for our 2021 Research Conference ‘Promoting collaboration in research, policy and practice’ which will be held in Manchester with co-hosts The University of Salford. This will take place alongside a live online event, and the conference content and poster exhibition will be online for 6 months.
We welcome abstract submissions from all methodological perspectives and all theoretical orientations, from students, practitioners and experienced researchers alike.
We accept submissions for:
• Research Papers: 30 minute sessions presenting counselling or psychotherapy research you have undertaken
• Discussion papers: 30 minute sessions presenting research-related work, such as an overview identifying issues and questions relevant to counselling and psychotherapy research or a review of research literature
• Methods workshops: 60 minute sessions aimed at introducing a particular research or analysis method relevant to counselling and psychotherapy, providing opportunities for practical and experiential learning
• Rapid Papers: 10 minute slots presenting early development work of a research project.
• Posters: A visually eye-catching format to present your research, including a one-minute platform to talk about your work, plus inclusion in the online poster exhibition
• Symposia: 90 minute sessions providing three or four presentations (plus an overview) on a particular theme or subject in counselling and psychotherapy research
