The sixth conference for lecturers and researchers in computer science and information technology in law enforcement

Polizeiinformatik 2021

Engineering & Computer Science (General)

The sixth conference for lecturers and researchers in computer science and information technology in law enforcement will take place online on April 20, 2021.
Scope
The primary goal of the conference is information exchange and research in law enforcement concerning IT, computer science, and AI. We call upon all researchers, members of law enforcement including their instructors from Germany and abroad to submit contributions from current projects or selected study and research projects. Up until now, most of the events took place in German, but we are eager to extend the reach of this event. The conference offers all practicians a platform for presenting current work and blue-sky ideas. Proceedings will be published, when the publication of the contributions are approved by the authors. The Polizeiinformatik 2021 invites papers in German and English, in the following categories:
• technical articles,
• project ideas,
• teaching concepts,
• case studies,
• policy papers,
• discussion papers,
• tutorials,
• work reports,
• book reviews,
• software reviews,
• lectures or posters
We especially welcomes application papers that provide novel insights on the interplay of computer science and AI with the real world application of law enforcement. All papers will be subject to blind peer review (single-blind) based on the standard criteria of relevance, the significance of results, originality of ideas, soundness, and quality of the presentation.
