DSC⚡️ is an action packed afternoon of back to back lightning talks covering all things DevSecOps.



For the upcoming DevSecCon Lightning events we are looking for proposals on the topic DevSecOps and how to continuously secure delivery. Whether this is your first speaking proposal or you are a seasoned conference veteran, we want to hear and learn from your DevSecOps experiences. Share a story, a failure, a successful rollout or a tech stack that has enabled you to learn and advance in the broad space of DevSecOps.

Session Formats​



You can submit proposals for one of the following:




  • Keynote (30min) - Inspiring and thought-provoking session. 

  • Lightning Talk (15min + 5min Q&A) - Sessions designed for speakers to give a quickfire view of a particular subject



**Note**




  • Please provide a detailed abstract. Abstracts that do not clearly define the talk or are less than a paragraph will not be considered.

  • Abstracts that are vague and do not include in-depth details will not be considered.

  • Provide your top three (3) key takeaways for attendees.



We are looking for proposals in the following areas:




  • DevSecOps, DevOps and Security teams learning experiences: the good, the bad and the ugly

  • Cultural change in organisations: how you’ve challenged the status quo and implemented a new approach to secure development and delivery

  • Applying DevSecOps and continuously securing delivery in an organisation:

  •     Development – e.g. how to integrate security in your development without impact

  •     Testing – e.g. how to integrate security testing into a frequent release cycle

  •     Public and private cloud – e.g. automating security using cloud services

  •     Operations – e.g. how to introduce business-focussed monitoring

  •     Security – e.g. how to benefit from continuous monitoring to reduce residual risk

  •     DevSecOps – e.g. how to automate operational integrated security assurance
