ABOUT THE JOURNAL



The journal of Economia y Negocios (ISSN-L 2708-6062) of University Jorge Basadre Grohmann (Tacna, Perú) is a semestral academic journal published by the Professional School Ingeniería Comercial.



The main objective of the journal is to disseminate the scientific production works resulting from the research carried out by local, national and international academics, in the field of Economic and Business Sciences, mainly in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.



EDITORIAL POLICIES



- Open access:



This journal provides immediate open access to its content and subscribes to the definition of the Budapest Open Access Initiative:



“By" open access "to this [peer-reviewed scientific literature], we mean that its availability is free on the public Internet, allowing any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or use it for any legal purpose, without no financial, legal or technical barriers, other than those that are inseparable from those involved in accessing the Internet itself. The only limitation regarding reproduction and distribution, and the only role of copyright in this domain, should be to give the authors control over the integrity of their works and the right to be adequately recognized and cited. "



In addition, we suggest that authors pre-publish their manuscripts in institutional repositories or on their websites before and during the process of submitting their works for evaluation, and publish the PDF corresponding to the final version of the journal after its publication. These practices benefit authors with productive exchanges, as well as increased citation of published works.



- Preservation:



The journal Economía y Negocios (ISSN-L 2708-6062) uses the LOCKSS system to create an archive distributed among the participating libraries, allowing said libraries to create permanent archives of the magazine for preservation and restoration purposes.



- Privacy:



The names and email addresses entered in this magazine will be used exclusively for the purposes stated in it and will not be provided to third parties or for use for other purposes.



ABOUT THE ARTICLES



The articles that are published by the magazine are original and unpublished. They are subjected to anti-plagiarism software and an external peer review evaluation process.

TIPES OF MANUSCRIPTS



The types of manuscript of a scientific nature are:



a) Original article (Research Article, Investigation or Article) They are research results that develop a topic of interest for the journal with solidity, originality, timeliness and timeliness.



b) Review article The reviews will be carried out by experts in the area. The Editorial Board can make invitations for its writing. They must include an exhaustive, objective and systematized exploration of current information on a certain topic of interest in the field of Economic and Business Sciences, mainly in Economics, Finance and Business Administration.



c) Scientific essay It is a relatively brief writing, dedicated to a specific topic that implies its deepening, discernment, and synthesis, where the author expresses his idea or point of view, based on objective information previously collected and presented.



LANGUAGES



The journal publishes articles in Spanish and English.



FORMAT



Papers must be sent in a text file with a DOC or DOCX extension (MS Word), Times New Roman 12 font, without restrictions (fully editable). The tables and figures that accompany the text, if applicable, must be delivered in an editable format, not in image format. Images or photographs must be submitted in a minimum resolution of 300 dpi in JPG files. The article must have a minimum of five thousand (5 000) words and must not exceed, in any case, ten thousand (10 000) words.

Structure original scientific article



a) Title : It must contain in essence the problem that is raised, be clear and precise. Its length should not be more than 12 words, it should be centered and in 14 points. If it is very long, a concise subtitle with a text size of 12 points should be used. The title must be capitalized at the beginning of the first word (only the first letter) and the proper names.



b) Title : It is the title correctly translated in English.



c) Author (s): If the work has been carried out as a team, the first author must be placed as the first author, the one who had the greatest responsibility in carrying out the work. Each of the authors of the article must add a footnote that exposes the following information:



-Undergraduate / graduate degree, institution, city and country.



-Position, institution of affiliation, city and country.



-Institutional email



-ORCID address



                Note:



                Affiliation: Name of the institution where the study was carried out (generally, it coincides with the place of work of the authors), city, country, email. Two affiliations per author should not be entered, except if both institutions contributed to the study. When there is no affiliation, the city and the country should be noted below the name. In the case of students, the institution where they graduated or where they are studying at that time must be noted. In the case of retired people, the institution where they worked is placed.

               ORCID code of each author: It is a persistent digital identifier, which distinguishes each researcher and through integration in key research workflows (such as submission of manuscripts and grants) accepts automated links between professional activities, ensuring that the work the researcher is recognized internationally.



d)  Summary : It must be presented in Spanish and English, in a single paragraph and no more than 350 words. It should be written in a single paragraph, separating the sentences with a period.



e) Keywords: Between 5 to 7 keywords (key words) are included as a maximum of the main aspects dealt with in the article and arranged alphabetically. Keywords must be classified according to the codes found in the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) classification system, for which they must access the following electronic address: https://www.aeaweb.org/econlit /jelCodes.php.



f) Abstract: It is the abstract with a correct translation into English.



g) Keywords: Keywords correctly translated into English.



h) Introduction: The problem is exposed, what is known about it is reported, a pertinent bibliographic review will be made, the general objective, main purpose and the hypothesis (if any) are discussed.



i) Material and methods: Description of the human, physical, financial and technical administrative resources employed. And according to the approach, describe the type and / or design, as well as the method used to carry out the research. It should also include the population and the study sample, variables, operationalization, techniques and instruments for collecting information, validation and reliability of the instruments.



j) Results : It will be presented in a clear way following a logical sequence, where the summarized information that confirms or not the hypothesis and specific objectives raised in the research is described. They should limit themselves to describing their own findings, avoiding making interpretations or comparisons. It is written in the past tense.



k) Discussion : In this part the author will be able to compare, discuss, argue his results with those of other authors. Take into account that the results are exposed and not summarized. Starting points for further research will emerge from this discussion. It is written in the present tense.



l) Conclusions : They should be written clearly and precisely.



m)  References : Only the references used by the author in carrying out the research and that are mentioned in the writing of the scientific article should appear. The average will be 15 references and they will be presented in the order corresponding to the bibliographic style. Consider that, if there are fifteen citations in the article, there must also be fifteen references. Use the style of references of the APA Standards (latest version).



Review article structure and scientific essay



The reviews will be carried out by experts in the area. They must include an exhaustive, objective and systematized exploration of current information on a certain topic of interest in economics and business, with the following structure:



-Unstructured summary



-Keywords



-Introduction



-Body of the item



-Conclusions



-Bibliographic references
