The International Journal of Human Rights and Law [ISSN: 3107-5827] is a premier open-access, double-blind peer-reviewed half-yearly research publication. IJHRL is a specialized publication focusing on various international human rights issues and constitutional studies. This journal covers a wide range of topics, including the criminal justice system, the right to food, and environmental rights, providing in-depth legal and economic analyses relevant to these areas.



The journal is part of the broader efforts by the Human Rights Council of India (Punjab & Haryana), which works on numerous initiatives aimed at promoting and protecting human rights. These initiatives include legal aid, public interest litigation, education campaigns, and support for victims of human rights abuses. The journal serves as a platform for researchers, academicians, professionals, practitioners, and students to disseminate and share their insights.



Submission Guidelines



Word Limit: Articles and essays should be between 4,000-5,000 words, and notes and comments should be up to 2,500 words (exclusive of footnotes).



Citation Format: The Bluebook (19th ed.).



Speaking footnotes are discouraged.



Biographical Information: A separate document with the author’s biographical information attached, including Name, Email address, must be Postal Address, Name and Address of Institution, Course (if applicable), and Academic Year.



Plagiarism Guidelines: As per the International Journal of Human Rights and Law Journal Policy on Academic Misconduct, plagiarism includes failure to acknowledge ideas or phrases from another source.



Acknowledgement of others’ work is expected even if the source was a discussion or use of materials on the internet.
