Since 1978, the IEEE Sarnoff Symposium has brought together researchers, engineers, and business executives in telecom and communications. The Sarnoff Symposium continues to grow as a premier forum in the northeastern United States, drawing an attendance from all over the world. The 40th Symposium will include technical sessions, keynotes, invited talks, expert panels, tutorials, demos/exhibits and poster presentations.
The Symposium is soliciting state-of-the-art research and position papers as well as panel and tutorial proposals in the broad area of communications and networking. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Submission instructions for panel and tutorial proposals may be found at the conference website. Authors must submit technical papers using EDAS on or before Tuesday, May 01, 2019 (https://edas.info/newPaper.php?c=25826). All papers will be reviewed for technical content and scope by the technical program committee. Authors of accepted papers must sign an IEEE copyright release form and present the paper at the conference for their paper to be published in IEEE Xplore. Submitted papers must be unpublished and not currently under review for any other publication.
The Symposium accepts both “short” (at most THREE (3) pages) and “long” (at most SIX (6) pages) technical papers. Submissions must be in PDF form and follow standard IEEE format, as detailed on the conference website.

* Notification of acceptance: June 28, 2019
* Camera-ready paper submission and author registration: August 2, 2019
