Moscow Conference on Computational Molecular Biology 2019

MCCMB 2019

Bioinformatics & Computational Biology

Moscow Conference on Computational Molecular Biology (MCCMB) is a biennial forum in various up-to-date areas of computational biology. The topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
• sequence analysis (statistics of DNA and protein sequences; functional annotation of genes, proteins and genomes);
• structure of biopolymers (prediction of protein structure; interaction of proteins with ligands; comparative analysis of protein 3D structures; prediction of RNA structure);
• molecular evolution (phylogenetic analysis; comparative genomics; genome rearrangements);
• omics and systems biology (genome and metagenome analysis; transcriptomics; large-scale analysis of proteomes and protein-protein interactions, metabolic and signal pathways; models and networks);
• next generation sequencing;
• bioalgorithms.
Important dates:
- submission of abstracts starts in mid-January 2019;
- submission of abstracts for oral presentations is closed on March 1, 2019;
- submission of poster abstracts is closed on May 1, 2019;
- early bird registration is closed on June 10, 2019.
A preliminary list of invited speakers:
• Pavel Baranov (University College Cork, Ireland)
• Jan Baumbach (Technical University of Munich, Germany)
• Dmitry Korkin (Worcester Polytechnic Institute, USA)
• Kyoko Miura (Hokkaido University, Japan)
• Shamil Sunyaev (Harvard Medical School, USA)
• Tamir Tuller (Tel Aviv University, Israel)
Selected papers of MCCMB'19 participants will be published in the special issue of Journal of Bioinformatics and Computational Biology subject to the standard reviewing procedure. All accepted abstracts will be indexed in the Russian Index of Scientific Citations (RISC).
Looking forward to seeing you in Moscow next summer,
