Conversational Data and Knowledge Engineering

CDKE 2019

Artificial Intelligence

"Traditional" data engineering considers the storage, retrieval, manipulation, and management of structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data; and "traditional" knowledge engineering addresses the derivation and management of knowledge from the data. Conversational Data & Knowledge Engineering (CDKE) on one hand extends data engineering and knowledge engineering to address visual and verbal conversations with (possibly deep) context. On the other hand it supports a visual and/or verbal conversational interface for complex problem solving.
Conversational Data and Knowledge Engineering (CDKE 2019) is an international forum for academia and industries to exchange visions and ideas in the state of the art and practice of Conversational Data and Knowledge Engineering, as well as to identify the emerging topics and define the future of CDKE.
TOPICS OF INTEREST include, but are not limited to:
- Data engineering and knowledge engineering aspects of conversations
- Conversational interface of database and knowledge base
- Complex queries
- Context modelling
- Conversational query processing and optimization
- Conversational data summary and visualization
- Conversational OLAP and data science
- Conversational problem solving
- Systems and platforms
- Performance evaluation
- Security and privacy
