Call For Papers Thematic Issue on ‘Intelligent Cloud Computing'

Paper Submission: February 15, 2016
Notification of acceptance/rejection: May 2, 2016
Final Decision: June 2, 2016

Cloud computing is an emerged technology that is driving the current Information technology. The three classes of cloud computing networks - public, private, and hybrid - open a new dimension to the business’ and engineers to find their way in the virtual world managing their applications without caring about the management details.
Cloud applications are hosted by data centers where thousands of servers are allocated. Although this number of servers raises some issues such as management and energy, the current cloud applications are the driving forces behind using this large number of resources. Some of these applications are cloud gaming, drop boxes, software and services, industrial storage, and intelligent transportation. Cloud problems as well as its applications require smart management and intelligent techniques to handle their problems. Some of these techniques are neural networks,
fuzzy logic, evolutionary computation, or other meme-centric problem-solving approaches.

This special issue will provide the scientific and industrial communities a dedicated forum to present new research, applications, and deployment efforts in the field of intelligent cloud computing. The issue includes but not limited to the utilization of intelligence in the following topics:
- Cloud applications
- Cloud Architecture
- Cloud Security
- Energy and cost-efficient network virtualization
- Efficient management of geographically distributed data centers
- Energy-aware data scheduling, monitoring, auditing in cloud computing and data centers
- Big data management and analytics
- Mobile cloud computing
- Virtualization technology
- Performance, dependability, and service level agreements
- Workload deployment and migration
- Cloud programming models and tools
- Hybrid cloud integration
- Service lifecycle management
- Metering, pricing, and software licensing
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers on any topics related to cloud computing. Any Manuscript must be prepared in according to the journal guidelines and should conform to the standard format of the Memetic Computing journal.

All submissions will undergo a blind peer-review process subject to the standards of the journal. The submissions must be done via the journal automatic system.
