The Goldstein Symposium on Arts and Human Rights:
"Witness: A Symposium on the Art of Samuel Bak"
In conjunction with the University of Nebraska at Omaha's retrospective exhibition, "Witness: The Art of Samuel Bak," on September 26, 2019 the Goldstein Center for Human Rights is convening a study day related to contemporary art and human rights. Scholars from all disciplines are invited to submit proposals for 20-minute presentations focused on the intersection of art and human rights.
Proposals that touch upon or relate to the life and oeuvre of Samuel Bak (1933-present) are especially welcome. As this is an interdisciplinary collaboration, scholars from all disciplines are encouraged to submit.
