The Symposium on Applied Sciences for Solving Society´s Issues (SASSSI) is a bilingual event (Spanish-English) held under the Tijuana International Research Congress (Congreso Internacional de Investigación Tijuana) organized by the Autonomous University of Baja California.

SASSSI aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for researchers and students to present their ideas, projects and/or results on how to use science to solve problems in society, including but not limited to those marked in the Sustainable Development Goals presented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP)

We are currently accepting manuscripts from the following research areas:

All submitted abstracts or full papers will be held under peer review before acceptance to the symposium. Accepted entries must attend the event for oral presentation.
