International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications

DICTA 2019

Computer Graphics Computer Vision & Pattern Recognition

The International Conference on Digital Image Computing: Techniques and Applications (DICTA) is the flagship Australian Conference on computer vision, image processing, pattern recognition, and related areas. DICTA was established in 1991 as the premier conference of the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS). DICTA 2019 is technically cosponsored by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Australian Pattern Recognition Society (APRS). All papers presented at the conference will be included in the IEEE Xplore digital library.
DICTA 2019 will be held in Perth, Western Australia 2-4th December 2019. The venue is Hyatt Regency Perth.
The conference banquet will be held on MV James Stirling , a high-class Captain Cook Cruise Vessel. Enjoy the exquisite buffet dinner while cruising the beautiful Swan River.
Topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Machine learning
• Computer vision
• Deep learning
• Image coding and processing
• Shape and texture analysis
• Biometrics, face and gesture and action recognition
• Surveillance, Defence and industrial applications
• Remote sensing and spectral imaging
• Astronomical image analysis
• Statistical and structural pattern recognition
• Human-computer interaction
• Biomedical, e-health and agricultural applications
• Content-based image retrieval and image databases
