The Sixth IEEE International Conference on Multimedia Big Data (BigMM 2020)
September 24-26, 2020
New Delhi, India
http://bigmm2020.org/
Multimedia data is increasingly becoming the most valuable source of information in the modern world. Mining and analyzing multimedia data has led to better insights and understanding of multiple modalities (text/image/audio/video) through which we communicate and share information. Recent advances in large scale computing and data mining techniques capable of gleaning information from massive datasets have spurred tremendous advances in terms of research and applications at the intersection of multimedia and big data technologies. The IEEE BigMM, jointly sponsored by the IEEE-TCMC and IEEE-TCSEM, is a high-quality event that will bring together academic and industrial practitioners from all over the world to present and discuss new research, applications, thoughts and ideas that are shaping the future of multimedia and big data. To be held in Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi (24th - 26th Sept 2020), the conference aims to bring together researchers from different areas and solicits high-quality original research papers relevant in any aspect of multimedia big data but not limited to the following broad themes:
Multimedia Big Data and User Engagement
Social media mining; affective computing
Multimedia search; ranking; summarization
Multimedia recommendation systems
Security and privacy
Multimodal Big Data Experience
Human-computer interactions, visualization, and navigation
Digital humanities; arts; storytelling
Multimedia applications; multimodal interactions and interfaces
Multimedia Big Data Content Understanding
Multimodal integration and alignment
Vision and language; audio/visual processing
Large scale multimodal content (image/audio/video) understanding and processing
Multimodal Big Data Systems
Large scale multimedia systems and middleware; transport and delivery
Big data management and system design
