CALL FOR DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM PAPERS & Work in Progress (WiP)
COINS 2019 (Sponsored by IEEE) Doctoral Symposium provides doctoral students at different stages in their research an opportunity to present their problem statement, goals, methods, and results to receive constructive feedback on their current research and future research directions.
The Ph.D. symposium also provides an opportunity for student participants to interact with established researchers and practitioners in the IoT, AI, ML, Big Data, VLSI, EDA, and Cloud computing community
Finally, the symposium seeks to motivate students in the development of their scientific curiosity and facilitate their networking within the research community.
Ph.D. Symposium attendance is open to all COINS registrants.
Submission Instructions
How to Submit
Each manuscript should include the complete paper text, all illustrations, and references. The manuscript should conform to the ACM or IEEE format: single-spaced, double column, US letter page size, 10-point size Times Roman font, up to 4 pages.
The full contact information including affiliation, address, e-mail, and phone should be included in a cover letter.
Students are invited to submit their manuscripts via the online submission platform of Easychair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=coins2019

Paper Acceptance Notification: 5 February 2019

CALL FOR Work in Progress (WiP)
COINS is also organizing a common Special Session to present WORK in PROGRESS aimed to authors that have not yet attained final and complete results in their research.
Authors intending to participate in the session should submit an extended abstract (maximum 2 pages, MS Word or PDF file) about their work via Easychair: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=coins2019
Accepted submissions will be published in a separate "Work in Progress" proceedings with own ISBN number, and are to be presented in the session by short presentations of 10 minutes.
Paper layout according to standard IEEE layout rules; details about that will be supplied together with the acceptance notification.
