STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES AND SMART EDUCATION/UNIVERSITY special session is a part of 6th International KES Conference on Smart Education and e-Learning (SEEL-2019) to be held on June 17-19, 2019 at the Intercontinental-Malta Hotel, St. Julians, MALTA, URL: http://seel-19.kesinternational.org/ *)
Scope
=====
This session will emphasize modern technology-based education, specifically smart education within smart universities with a focus on students with disabilities. Presentations will highlight 1) how smart universities/classrooms/ technology/systems can impact the learning of students with various types of disabilities, 2) best practices and case studies about how modern technology and software systems can help students with disabilities access the curriculum, courseware and feel more a part of the modern classroom environment, and 3) ideas and suggestions for future ways to incorporate students with disabilities into the smart learning environment with the use of smart technology and systems.

The Full Papers conference proceedings will be published by SPRINGER as book chapters in a volume of the KES Smart Innovation Systems and Technologies series (http://www.springer.com/series/8767), and submitted for indexing in Scopus and Thomson-Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI) and the Web of Science.
(The Short Papers and Abstracts conference proceedings will be published online and will not appear in the Springer volume).
