Special Issue on Modelling for Water Resources Management

MWRM 2020

Ecology

Despite sustained growth in industry and services, agriculture and fisheries remain important economic sectors. These sectors are highly dependent on access to water and are threatened by changes in the uses of this resource, whose consumption increases for high-income agricultural products and for industry. while reserves are declining as a result of climate change, intensification of human activities, and increased pollution. Methods in Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering can provide key tools in order to improve the management of water resources. We, therefore, wish to organize a multidisciplinary conference to promote collaboration between researchers working on water issues, decision-makers and operators who daily manage access to this resource, and modellers.
