CALL FOR PAPERS
-------------------------------------------------
In the last decade, the spreading of low-cost technologies for sensors and actuators and the Internet of Things (IoT) have fostered the diffusion of smart environments where different interconnected devices and smart physical objects interact with each other, with external services, with the environment, and with the human beings.
The adoption of new End-User Development (EUD) approaches can amplify the opportunities offered by this technological scenario: by combining novel interaction paradigms and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, these new approaches can involve directly non-technical users in configuring the combined behavior of the different agents acting in the smart environments.

This workshop focuses on these opportunities, and aims to serve as a venue for discussing ongoing research and sharing ideas for researchers and practitioners working on solutions for the EUD of IoT ecosystems. In particular the workshop addresses the design of AI-enhanced User Interfaces that support non-experts in tailoring the behavior of IoT devices and the resulting smart environments.

-------------------------------------------------
TOPICS OF INTEREST
-------------------------------------------------
We invite papers addressing the following topics. Papers on topics that are not listed below are welcome as well:
• End-User Development for Intelligent IoT;
• Interaction Paradigms for Intelligent IoT;
• Usability of Intelligent IoT;
• Intelligent Interfaces for IoT system personalization (e.g., Interactive Conversational Agents);
• Recommendations for IoT systems personalization;
• Adaptive IoT environments;
• AI-powered IoT environments.

-------------------------------------------------
PARTICIPATION AND SUBMISSION
-------------------------------------------------
* We invite submissions of two types: short papers (4-6 pages) and applied case studies (1-2 pages).
* Participants are asked to submit their paper describing their recent or future work in the field of ‘intelligent user interfaces for end-user personalization of IoT.
* All submissions must be in the ACM SIGCHI conference format.
* Papers should be submitted in PDF to easychair (https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=euiot2020)
* The submissions will be reviewed by the organizers and by the program committee based on relevance, originality, significance and quality.
* Upon acceptance, at least one author of each accepted position paper must attend the workshop.
* All workshop participants must register for both the workshop and for at least one day of the main conference.
* Accepted and presented papers will be made available on CEUR Workshop Proceedings while workshop results will be published on the workshop website.
