Scope

The special issue is devoted to attracting original research papers on techniques, applications, industry case studies and experience reports connected to data-enabled discovery for cyber-physical systems with special emphasis on industrial applications.

In particular, the topics of interest but are not limited to:
* Data pre-processing: data cleaning, dimensionality reduction, feature extraction,
* Data integration: integrating data from heterogeneous sources, resolving conflicts, schema integration
* Data Mining Methods: mining streaming data, time-series data, mining multi-dimensional data, classification, clustering, anomaly & outliner detection, predictive modeling, deep learning, feature learning and representation
* Algorithms: online algorithms, optimization methods, scalable & high-performance methods, reinforcement learning, hierarchical models
* Knowledge Discovery Process: data exploration, interactive visualization
* Decision support: human-autonomy collaboration, behavioral modeling
* Applications [ Manufacturing; Transportation; Energy; Aviation; Automotive; Buildings and smart cities; Healthcare; Autonomous systems and robotics; Smart and connected health]

Submission Format and Guidelines

Papers should have no more than 30 pages and should be formatted according to the instructions used for articles in the journal Data-Enabled Discovery and Applications. Authors should indicate "Special Issue on Data-Enabled Discovery for Industrial Cyber-Physical Systems" on the first page and in the authors cover letter.
