Gerontechnology has been actively promoted by the government in response to the challenges of our aging population. Gerontechnology does not only promote independence among older adults but also enhances their quality of life and further supports them to age in place. The International Conference on Gerontechnology provides an interdisciplinary platform for local and overseas health professionals, researchers and service providers to gain a better understanding of the latest trend of gerontechnology development and the application of gerontechnology in elderly care.
Papers on the following topics area are welcome:
1. Use of technology to promote active aging;
2. Assistive technology and smart home technology to assist aging in place;
3. Use of technology to facilitate workflow and healthcare services;
4. Latest development in gerontechnology;
5. Gerontechnology in elderly care, challenges and constraints; and
6. Other topics relevant to the conference.
Papers on all topics related to gerontechnology are welcome. Papers on related topics will also be considered.
Submission Deadline
Abstract submission deadline: 3 Jan 2020
Notification of abstract acceptance: 24 Jan 2020
Paper submission deadline: 3 Jan 2020
Notification of paper acceptance: 24 Jan 2020
NB: Submission of full papers is optional. Those who have their abstracts accepted may give oral or paper presentations at the conference. The conference will offer the Best Paper & Poster Award to the authors and presenters. Selected full papers will also be recommended to international journals or an edited book for publication.

Papers submitted for presentation should normally be in English.
All abstracts must be selected as oral or poster presentations by applicants. Abstract accepted for oral presentation will be allocated a timeslot for paper presentation if at least one of the authors completes the registration.
Abstracts must be submitted through the online system below, by following the instruction on the page of “New Submission”.
