Call for Papers: Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society (JICES)

The Journal of Information, Communication and Ethics in Society aims to promote thoughtful dialogue regarding the wider social and ethical issues related to the planning, development, implementation and use of new media and information and communication technologies.
Papers which are transdisciplinary, interdisciplinary or single discipline. Culturally and geographically diverse papers are welcomed. Papers that integrate consideration of ethics or social impacts with novel empirical research are particularly welcome.
Topics of interest include but are not limited to:
• Impacts of emerging technologies
• ICT governance
• Social media
• Ecological effects of ICT
• Digital identity
• Digital divides
• Social inclusion and equality
• Privacy and data protection
• E-government and democracy
• E-commerce, acceptable trading
• Intellectual property, censorship and related issues
Other original research topics in the area of ICT ethics or social impacts of ICT is also invited for publication.
JICES operates a double-anonymous peer review process. Reviewing is timely, effective and efficient.
