EXTENSION OF PAPER SUBMISSION DEADLINE!!!

Due to a high level of interest from participants, we are pleased to announce that the paper submission deadline has been extended until March 1, 2020!!!

The fiftieth anniversary of the death of the eminent Polish philosopher and humanist Roman Ingarden in 2020 is an occasion to launch an international academic debate on his philosophical legacy. Above all, however, it is a unique opportunity to initiate an international debate on current trends in contemporary philosophy. The main aim of the organisers is therefore to furnish an international group of researchers with a convenient space for a free and creative exchange of thoughts, ideas, and views.

The Parliament of the Republic of Poland, convinced of the uniqueness of the work and attitude of the philosopher, established 2020 as the Year of Roman Ingarden.

The Congress ‘Roman Ingarden and Our Times’ will be held 22‒27 September 2020 at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland.

The aim of the Congress is to bring together representatives of various fields of philosophy in order to explore contemporary perspectives on ontology, logic, epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics. The thematic scope of the Congress is not limited to phenomenological issues.
