•2016: The 5th AFMD was held in Suzhou, China.

•2017: The 6th AFMD took place in Moscow, Russia, followed later that year by the 7th AFMD in Havana, Cuba.

•2018: The 8th AFMD was hosted in Leuven, Belgium.

•2022: The 9th AFMD was held online.

•2027: The 10th AFMD will be hosted in Athens, Greece.
