CHiC 2020 is a rebranded international conference from two well-received conferences (CIIC2015 & ICON-HMC2017) organized by SMMTC, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM).

CHiC’20 intends to provide an avenue for an insightful and engaging meeting, forum, presentation and discussion of issues, information and unique research findings from the creative humanities angle. CHiC’20 emphasises a range of initiatives including collaborations with the HLIs, industries, government and NGO sectors. CHiC’20 is interdisciplinary and brings creative industry-focused projects, papers and creative outputs that respond and address the complex social and cultural issues. The event includes keynote addresses from leading experts, panel discussions, workshops, and award ceremony.

The focus of this conference is to share the knowledge and experiences within the domain of digital creativity and technology. The topics of interest are, but not limited to the following:

We cordially invite you to present/participate at this conference. Prospective authors are invited to submit original and unpublished papers of minimum six (6) pages* in English. All accepted papers will be published in CHiC’2020 e-proceedings (e-ISSN). Outstanding papers will be invited to submit an extended version (minimum 30%) to be considered for publication in Q2/Q3 Scopus-indexed and peer-reviewed journals (additional charges will apply).
