Mental Health World Conference (MHWC 2026)

"Mental Health in a Changing World: Research, Response, and Resilience"

To tackle one of the most critical issues of our day—the global mental health crisis—the Mental Health World Conference (MHWC 2026) is a premier international forum that brings together experts, policymakers, researchers, and mental health professionals from around the world.

This year's theme, "Advancing Global Mental Wellness Through Science, Systems, and Solidarity," reflects a renewed interest in working together across national borders, disciplines, and sectors. From digital innovation to trauma recovery, and policy reform to system change, MHWC 2026 offers a powerful platform to impact mental health agendas around the world.

Conference Aims

Organise high-level meetings between government representatives, health leaders, and researchers; disseminate cutting-edge scientific findings in public health, neuroscience, and psychiatry; fortify the global health system and mental health infrastructure; and place a priority on care that is inclusive, equitable, and culturally sensitive. Encourage integrated plans to ensure universal health coverage (UHC) includes mental health.
