The IX International Meeting of Young Researchers in Early Modern History will take place on the 26th, 27th and 28th of June 2025 at the University of Minho in the city of Braga, Portugal! The Meeting will be held with the support of the History Department of the same University and with the research centre CECS (also based in the same University). We have also recently partenered up with Santa Casa de Misericórdia de Braga to provide the best possible event for everyone!
In this first phase, an abstract of up to 500 words and a brief CV (around 150 words) are required. Subsequently, selected candidates will be asked to write a paper of 5 to 7 pages, for possible future publication. The deadline for submitting proposals will be November 30, 2024. All submissions must be sent to the following email: ejihm2025@gmail.com
Papers in Portuguese, Spanish and English are welcome. Authors must attend a study cycle (bachelor's degree, master's degree or doctorate) or have completed one in the last three years.
We invite young researchers to join us in this new edition, which promises an atmosphere of fraternity and learning!
