SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
The 16th International Conference on Frontier Computing (FC 2026) continues the successful tradition of the FC series by serving as a forum for researchers, engineers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and present the latest developments in theory, technologies, and applications of computing and information sciences.
To enhance global academic exchange and promote Asia-Europe collaboration, FC 2026 will be held as two parallel forums:
• Asian Forum — Seoul, Korea
• European Forum — Prague, Czech Republic
This dual-venue format will foster regional collaboration and deepen academic interaction across continents.
The conference series has been successfully held in various cities worldwide, including FC 2010 (Taichung, Taiwan), FC 2012 (Xining, China), FC 2013 (Gwangju, Korea), FC 2015 (Bangkok, Thailand), FC 2016 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2017 (Osaka, Japan), FC 2018 (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), FC ABH 2019 (Taichung, Taiwan), FC 2019 (Kitakyushu, Japan), FC 2020 (Online), FC 2021 (Online), FC 2022 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2023 (Tokyo, Japan), FC 2024 (Singapore), and FC 2025 (Osaka, Japan).
PUBLICATION AND SPECIAL ISSUE OPPORTUNITIES
All accepted papers will be published in the Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering (LNEE) series by Springer, indexed by EI and SCOPUS.
In addition, FC 2026 continues the special publication model, offering authors the opportunity to extend their conference papers (more than 40% extension required) for submission to top-ranked international journals and edited volumes after the conference.
All submitted papers will undergo rigorous peer review based on originality, technical soundness, significance, and clarity of presentation.
