The 2023 IEEE Autumn Meeting on Power, Electronics and Computing (ROPEC 2023) is the XXV edition of the well renowned international conference organized by IEEE Centro Occidente Section, Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia, and Comisión Federal de Electricidad, Gerencia de Distribución Centro Occidente of Mexico. It will be held on Nov. 2023 in Ixtapa, Guerrero, México.

The ROPEC 2023 is a forum where practitioners as well as researchers and students will meet to exchange points of view, present new ideas as well as advances to push further the areas of Power Systems, Electronics and Computing. The location, Ixtapa Mexico, provides the ideal environment to engage in discussions which surely will continue up after the conference.

This forum is directed to:

• Practitioners,


• Researchers,


• Academics and students

in the Power Systems, Electronics and Computer Science expertise fields.

There will be technical talks, conferences, special sessions, as well as contests. The contributions to be considered will have an extended technical paper format with at most six pages length. The technical committee will assign oral presentations to the accepted papers. Conference content will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore as well as other Abstracting and Indexing (A&I)

The Organizing Committee of the 2023 IEEE Autumn Meeting on Power, Electronics and Computing invite students, researchers and practitioners worldwide to submit full papers for consideration to be presented at the conference. The technical committee will assign oral presentations to the accepted papers. All the papers PRESENTED at the conference will be submitted to IEEEXplore for worldwide exposure if they comply with its rules.

IMPORTANT: On February 2023, regarding AI-Generated Text, the IEEE Publication Services and Products Board (IEEE PSPB) aproved the following motion: “The use of artificial intelligence (AI)–generated text in an article shall be disclosed in the acknowledgements section of any paper submitted to an IEEE Conference or Periodical.”

Deadlines :

• June 30, 2023: Final full paper submission.


• August 28, 2023: Acceptance Notification.


• September 22, 2023: Final paper submission and registration.


• October 18-20, 2023: ROPEC 2023

Paper submission:

The paper title as well as the abstract has to be in English, and the body of the paper either English or Spanish and is limited to 6 page using the IEEE templates found at our conference templates page.

It has to be submitted in PDF format using easychair.
