10th International Conference on the Internet of Things

IoT 2020

Computer Networks & Wireless Communication Computing Systems

Call for Papers
10th International Conference on the Internet of Things (IoT 2020)
October 6 - 9, 2020
https://iot-conference.org/iot2020
Malmö University, Malmö (Sweden)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Internet of Things (IoT) has become a central and exciting research
area encompassing many fields in information and communication technology
and adjacent domains. IoT systems involve interacting, heterogeneous,
distributed, and intelligent things, both from the digital and physical
worlds including the human in the loop. Thanks to the increasingly wide
spectrum of applications and cheap availability of both network
connectivity and devices, a number of different stakeholders from industry,
academia, society and government are part of the IoT ecosystem.
Challenges include: better understanding of IoT applications in terms of
scalability and heterogeneity; reliable communication in constantly
changing networks and traffic scenarios; ability to mask high-latency;
secure information handling and privacy preservation; integrating and
mediating things within intelligent systems, where IoT technologies are
potential catalysts; addressing impending social and societal impacts vital
to the success of the IoT.
The International Conference on the Internet of Things has become the
premier gathering place where visionary, groundbreaking research in the IoT
field, is showcased by researchers and leading industry experts. Since its
beginning in 2008, the conference has been backed by strong support from
leading academic institutions as well as industry.

Submission Information
-----------------------------
Papers must be submitted via the EasyChair (
https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iot20200) conference system,
written in English, and contain original material that has not been
published or is currently undergoing review elsewhere. Papers should not
exceed 8 pages, including figures and references. More information about
the paper template will be published soon on the conference website. Papers
will be peer-reviewed by at least three experts from the technical program
committee following a single-blind review process (i.e., the identity of
the reviewer is hidden, but the authors’ names and affiliations should be
included in the submission). The papers will be evaluated based on
relevance, soundness, novelty, practical relevance and potential impact.
Accepted papers will be listed on DBLP and published via the ACM Digital
Library (*pending*). We plan to invite authors of selected papers to extend
their contributions for inclusion in journal special issues.
