Part of a shared multi-conference experience
J On The Beach celebrates its 10th edition in 2026.
What began as a conference focused on distributed systems and real-world software engineering has grown into a reference event for developers who care about how systems really behave in production.
This year, J On The Beach will take place together with two sister conferences — Lambda World and Wey Wey Web — creating a unique environment where backend, data, functional programming, frontend, UI and design communities meet in a single venue.
One place.
Multiple tracks.
A broader, stronger community.
We are especially interested in practical, experience-driven talks based on real problems, real systems and real decisions.
Topics include (but are not limited to):
Distributed Systems & Scalability
DevOps, SRE & Platform Engineering
Data Engineering & Streaming
Software Architecture & Engineering Practices
Cloud, Microservices & Failure Stories
Lessons learned from production (successes and failures)
If your talk is based on things you’ve actually built, broken, fixed or improved, this CFP is for you.
This Call for Papers is part of a shared CFP covering:
J On The Beach — systems, data & engineering
Lambda World — functional programming
Wey Wey Web — frontend, UI & design
Your proposal will be reviewed and routed to the conference where it best fits, while keeping a single submission process.
A highly technical and engaged audience
Speakers selected for content, not marketing
A friendly, ego-free atmosphere
A decade-long conference with strong identity
Great conversations, great food, and beach vibes
This is a conference for people who care about quality software and honest knowledge sharing.
