Biomedical Technology

In today’s rapidly advancing landscape of biomedical science, the convergence of stem cell research, biomaterials, and tissue engineering has opened new pathways for innovation in regenerative medicine. These interconnected fields are transforming how we understand cellular behavior, develop therapeutic strategies, and engineer functional biological systems capable of repairing, restoring, or replacing damaged tissues.

Stem Cells, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering serves as a comprehensive open-access platform for researchers, clinicians, academicians, and industry experts to share groundbreaking discoveries and emerging technologies. The journal promotes interdisciplinary exploration across a broad range of topics, including stem cell biology, advanced biomaterial design, scaffold fabrication, organoid modeling, 3D bioprinting, regenerative therapies, and clinical translational research.

The journal focuses on studies involving various stem cell types—such as embryonic stem cells, induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), mesenchymal stem cells, neural stem cells, and hematopoietic stem cells—and their integration with cutting-edge biomaterials and engineering strategies. Research exploring therapeutic applications in areas such as neuroregeneration, cardiovascular repair, orthopedic reconstruction, wound healing, dental tissue regeneration, and immune modulation is highly encouraged.

Our aim is to highlight high-impact contributions ranging from molecular mechanisms of cell–material interactions and scaffold development to innovative engineering methods, clinical evaluations, ethical considerations, and regulatory perspectives. The journal also welcomes translational and preclinical studies that advance safe and effective tissue-engineered solutions for future clinical use.

Stem Cells, Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering is committed to maintaining a rigorous, rapid, and unbiased peer-review process to ensure the timely dissemination of high-quality scientific knowledge. The journal’s digital and open-access format enhances global reach, fostering collaboration and accelerating progress across scientific and medical communities.

Manuscripts are handled through an advanced Online Submission System, offering seamless submission, transparent review tracking, and an efficient editorial workflow. Each submission undergoes expert evaluation by editorial board members or external specialists, with final decisions made based on the recommendations of at least two qualified reviewers and the editor.
