Call for Papers (CFP)
GiST Education and Learning Research Journal invites submissions for issues 30 and 31, to be published in 2025. GiST is a bi-annual publication dedicated to disseminating national and international research findings on language education, particularly bilingual education and innovations in teaching
Our journal aims to provide a platform for researchers and educators to share innovative practices, research findings, and theoretical contributions that advance the field of education. We particularly, but not exclusively, welcome studies that explore bilingual education, language learning technologies, and pedagogical strategies. All submissions undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the highest standards of academic quality and integrity.
Submission Deadlines:
The submission deadline for articles is January 10, 2025. We are accepting articles starting now, and they will be evaluated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Types of Articles Accepted:
Scientific or Technological Research Article: A document presenting the original results of a research project in detail. The structure generally includes an abstract, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, conclusions, and references.
Reflective Article: A document presenting the results of a research project from the analytical, interpretive, or critical perspective of the author on a specific topic, with clear references to original sources.
Review Article: A document resulting from research where the results of published and unpublished research projects are analyzed, systematized, and integrated to demonstrate advances and development trends. This type of manuscript typically includes a detailed bibliographic summary of at least 50 references.
Book Review: A critical evaluation of a book's contribution, context, and methodology, assessing its relevance, argument structure, and target audience, while providing insights and comparisons to other works.
