A suitable publisher of good reputation will be selected after discussing the scope and potential of the chapters received.
Concept Note:
With changing politico-social, cultural and economic scenarios around the world, the notion of identity has become a significant question. Whether collective or individual, the struggle to trace and exist in one's own identity has to overcome several challenges raised by diverse influences from within and beyond. Such irregularities and crises lead to positive or negative categorisation. Identity: A Question opens space to explore and interpret the significance of the expression of identity amidst the growing tensions of attack from several corners on gender, caste, class, religion, political orientation, ideology, etc. We welcome scholarly chapters that can contribute to developing the theme of the edited volume.
